Panhandle weather is hard on exterior paint. These are the signs worth not putting off another season.
What we look at during an inspection
- Peeling or blistering on the sides that get the most sun.
- Mildew staining on the faces that get the least direct light.
- Cracked caulk around windows.
- Visibly uneven color from one elevation to another.
- Bare wood showing on eaves or trim.
Two or more of these usually means waiting another season will cost more, because the job stops being paint and becomes repair.
