The job, day by day
Five working days, no cabinets removed, and the family living in the house the whole time.
Day 1 — Removal and degreasing
Doors and hardware come off, get labeled, and everything is degreased thoroughly. Kitchen grease is the number one reason a cabinet finish fails within six months.
Day 2 — Sanding and masking
Fine sanding, vacuuming, and full masking of countertops and appliances.
Days 3 to 5 — Primer and two coats
Bonding primer and two sprayed coats, with full cure time between them.
